blacs-pvm-test software package provides Basic Linear Algebra Comm. Subprograms - Test files for PVM, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install blacs-pvm-test
blacs-pvm-test is installed in your system.
Make ensure the blacs-pvm-test package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep blacs-pvm-test *
You will get with blacs-pvm-test package name, version, architecture and description in a table
